Common questions
Who is the Heart Failure Clinic for?
People diagnosed with heart failure, including those with a weak heart muscle (reduced ejection fraction), and patients recently discharged from hospital after a heart failure admission.
What is cardiac rehab?
Cardiac rehabilitation is a supervised programme of exercise, education and lifestyle support that helps people recover strength and confidence after a heart event, and live well with heart failure.
How often are visits?
It depends on how stable you are. Visits are more frequent while medicines are being adjusted, then spaced out once you are stable.
